May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month, and today - May 17th - is DIPG Awareness Day.

DIPG - diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma - is the second most common type of brain cancer in children and is responsible for the majority of pediatric brain tumor deaths each year.

You can take action to help raise the profile of this devastating terminal childhood brain tumor by writing to your Members of Congress in support of the DIPG Awareness Resolution. This is the fourth iteration of this resolution, which gained 215 House signatures last session and unanimously passed the Senate in 2019 and 2020.

This resolution is an important first step in securing the support, attention, and resources needed to develop better treatment options and find a cure.

Use the form below to make your voice heard. Your Members of Congress will immediately receive your email and will know a constituent cares deeply about children with DIPG:

To learn more about the resolution - its origins and the legislative process - read the press summary from DIPG Advocacy Group.

I have surpassed all expectations set for me and I refuse to stop now. Brain cancer may have knocked me down but I have always gotten back up, stronger than I was before.
